Features for a New Year
The
year of 2013 is upon us. DSID is committed to upholding a high quality of
service and offering the best digital signage solution for dentists and
orthodontists. During 2013, we will be releasing several new features and
upgrades that promise to enhance and improve your practice marketing and patient satisfaction. You can also expect to see more
of our dynamic, 'infotaining' content appearing around holidays and season changes,
as well as for scheduled updates. To start the year off with a bang,
we're announcing the release of three new features this month: the Social Media
app, the Review app, and the improved Custom Ticker.
Tweets, Posts, and Likes
Social Media is a big buzz word these days.
Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are just a few platforms out there that can help
you grow your online presence, improve your search engine results, and interact
with your patients, among other things. If you have a Facebook page or a
Twitter profile, you can now integrate them with DSID digital signage.
Displaying your Facebook timeline in-office allows viewers to see your latest
posts and get in touch with your humorous/lighter side. It gives them
the ability to interact and respond in real-time via their
smartphones and tablets, while also providing the opportunity for them to
'Like' your page. Twitter is not as dynamic as Facebook, but can be great for
growing a group of followers - if you're a regular Tweeter. But even if you
don't Tweet, you can link your Twitter and Facebook posts; so what shows up
one, shows up on the other. As far as things go, the more Social Media you are
using and displaying, the better, because this will reach a larger audience.
Another Social Media aspect that we've developed is content that specifically
promotes your Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube page. This content informs viewers
that you are, in fact, 'with it', while providing them with a QR code that will
link directly to the respective media should they choose to scan it with a
smartphone.
Positive Reviews
If you're on any review site, you want existing
patients to write positive reviews, and potential patients to read them. With
DSID, you can now encourage viewers to both read and write reviews, show them
where they can do so, and also provide an easy route for them to get there.
Like the Social Media app, the Review app makes use of QR codes that can be
scanned with a smartphone and link directly to the prescribed site. No matter
what review sites you use, whether one or several, we can promote them all and
help you build an excellent rating. If you use Demand Force, actual reviews can
now be displayed on your digital signage in-office.
Scrolling Messages
We have implemented an easier, more streamlined method
for writing in-office messages. Now you can login to your own DSID account via our website from
any computer, and type as many messages as you want. Sixty seconds later
they'll show up on your digital signage. This feature is great for welcoming
patients, wishing them Happy Birthday, or whatever else you can think of, and
is achievable with a fast, easy, real-time method. In addition, you can
deselect messages that you're not currently using, and reactivate them at a
later stage, rather than having to delete and rewrite all the time.
